Contemporary Dance III - Advanced

Dance 300

Usual Description

Contemporary III is a momentum-fueled montage of contemporary dance techniques and physical practices from around the globe.  It is designed for the experienced dancer to investigate diverse aesthetic possibilities and experiment with a variety of movement vocabularies, and qualities, in order to further physical capacities, enhance performance skills and develop artistry for a variety of choreographic contexts and intentions.  Class will begin with a warm-up structured as a series of progressively more complex and physically challenging circuits, and also include across the floor sequences, nuanced phrase work, improvisation exercises, task based technique exercises and in-class performances.
