Usual Description

This seminar examines how to find and follow one?s muse, a question fundamental to a creative and productive life. Through readings, discussions, and written and oral assignments students explore creativity and analyze quantitatively scientific literature about creative problem-solving from biology, cognitive neuroscience, and other disciplines. Connections among creativity, insight, and innovation are also considered. Students will practice innovative problem-solving through team-based design projects meeting needs in the Oberlin community.
