Narrative Non-Fiction

Rhetoric and Composition 206

Usual Description

Narrative nonfiction employs the techniques of storytelling (scene, character, voice, narrative arc) in the service of the truth. In this course, we will read and create nonfiction work that has the qualities of a “couldn’t put it down” story. Students will do research and conduct interviews for their writing projects. The class will have a strong workshop component.
