Russian Language, Literature and Culture 446

Usual Description

In this capstone course for Russian majors and advanced students of Russian, we will read and analyze one major Russian novel, exploring its literary and stylistic richness, its historical and cultural context, and its adaptations in film. Students will design and work on an independent research projects leading to a substantial final paper. The spring 2015 seminar will be on Bulgakov’s Master and Margarita. Taught in Russian and English.
